#Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: August 29, 2026

This policy governs how ByteSeek Chat (operated by ByteSeek Limited) may be used, and forms part of your agreement with us together with the Terms of Service. Using the service — including the web interface, account system, and all features — means you agree to follow it.

#Prohibited usage

#Illegal and infringing activity

Do not use the service to conduct, assist, or promote any illegal activity, including but not limited to:

• Fraud, money laundering, gambling, illegal fundraising, or other unlawful activity;
• Manufacturing or trading prohibited goods, or obtaining instructions to do so;
• Infringing others' intellectual property, trade secrets, likeness, reputation, privacy, or other lawful rights;
• Generating or distributing content prohibited under applicable law.

#Harmful content

Do not use the service to create, distribute, or solicit:

• Any sexualised content involving minors — zero tolerance; immediate permanent ban and report as required by law;
• Content promoting or glorifying self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
• Content promoting terrorism, extremism, or mass violence;
• Hate, discrimination, harassment, threats, or personal attacks against individuals or groups;
• Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other severely harmful content;
• High-harm instructions such as weapons development (including biological, chemical, nuclear, radiological) or explosives manufacture.

#Fraud, impersonation, and deception

Do not use the service to generate or distribute:

• Content impersonating real individuals, organisations, customer service, or official identities;
• Content for scams, phishing, social engineering, or payment luring;
• Deepfakes of another person's likeness or voice used to mislead;
• Fabricated news, fabricated evidence, or content you know to be false and use to mislead;
• Bulk spam, harassment, or spam marketing.

#Privacy violations

Do not:

• Submit, generate, or spread others' private personal information (doxxing);
• Use the service to track, monitor, or harass anyone;
• Upload files or materials containing others' personal information that you have no right to process.

#Attacks and technical abuse

Do not:

• Attack, penetration-test, exploit, or maliciously load-test the service (report security issues responsibly to support);
• Use the service to write, debug, or optimise malicious code, trojans, ransomware, or other destructive programs;
• Bypass or attempt to bypass safety measures, content filters, risk controls, or rate limits (including "jailbreak"-style prompt injection);
• Reverse engineer the service or upstream models, extract system prompts, or probe internal implementation;
• Bulk-access or scrape the service with crawlers, scripts, or automation, or wrap the web chat as an API for others;
• Bypass payment flows, tamper with billing, or exploit bugs to obtain unpaid entitlements.

#Account abuse and resale

Do not:

• Bulk-register accounts with automation, or register under false identities;
• Share, rent, lend, or sell accounts (your own use across devices is fine, per in-site terms);
• Resell the service or redistribute its capabilities in any form without our written authorisation (including recharge-on-behalf, group-buying, code scalping);
• Farm referral rewards or promotions through multiple accounts or self-referral;
• Purchase with borrowed or stolen payment instruments — accounts involved in payment fraud are frozen and handled with payment channels and law enforcement.

#Evading regional restrictions

The service is offered only in supported regions. Do not evade regional restrictions through false information, proxies, registration-on-behalf, or account transfers.

#High-risk use restrictions

Do not use AI output as the sole basis for decisions that materially affect your or others' rights — medical diagnosis and medication, legal disputes, investment, insurance, hiring, and similar. For material decisions in these domains, consult professionals with the relevant licence, and read the Disclaimer.

If you are in crisis or at risk of self-harm, contact local professional hotlines or seek medical help immediately — AI chat is no substitute for crisis intervention.

#Your responsibility for AI output

AI output is generated automatically and may contain errors, hallucinations, or outdated information. Judge its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and fitness yourself, and own the decisions you base on it:

• When publishing or using AI-generated content, follow your jurisdiction's rules on labelling AI-generated content;
• Do not use output directly in scenarios that require professionally qualified sign-off;
• Cross-check important facts.

#Protection of minors

The service targets users with full legal capacity. Minors may not register or use it; guardians who find a minor using the service without consent should contact us.

#Enforcement and appeals

• Violations bring content blocking, feature limits, suspension, or permanent bans depending on severity;
• Suspected illegality is reported to the authorities as required by law;
• To appeal, contact support with your account email, when it happened, and the relevant details;
• Unused paid entitlements in banned accounts can be addressed on request, provided fraud and malicious violation are ruled out.

#Updates

We may update this policy in response to business, legal, or upstream-policy changes. Updates are published here with a refreshed effective date; material changes are announced in reasonable ways. Continuing to use the service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance.
