#Chatbox

The chat client with the broadest platform coverage: Windows / macOS / Linux desktop, iOS / Android mobile, plus a web version. Supports custom OpenAI-compatible providers.

#Install

#Prerequisites

• Chatbox installed
• An OpenAI-format group key from the API Keys page

#Configure

1. Open Chatbox → Settings → Model provider.
2. Click Add custom provider, mode OpenAI API compatible.
3. Fill in:
   • Name: ByteSeek
   • API host: https://tokens.byteseek.ai/v1 (if your version splits host and path, host https://tokens.byteseek.ai, path /v1/chat/completions)
   • API key: your sk- key
4. Fetch or manually add models, IDs per the model plaza.
5. Back in the conversation, switch to a ByteSeek model.

Send a message and confirm the reply; the request's model and charge are on the usage page.
