Disclaimer
Effective date: August 29, 2026
This disclaimer covers all services provided by ByteSeek Tokens (operated by ByteSeek Limited) and all output produced by models called through the service. It forms part of the Service Terms.
Provided "as is"
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no guarantees of continuity, timeliness, accuracy, or fitness for particular needs, and disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Inherent limits of AI output
Model output returned via the API is generated automatically and may contain:
- Factual errors
- Omissions
- Hallucinations (plausible-sounding fabrications, including invented citations and data)
- Outdated information (model knowledge has a cutoff)
- Incomplete information
- Information unsuited to your specific business scenario
- Expression that unintentionally resembles third-party content
Different requests or models may answer the same question inconsistently; similar prompts from different users may yield similar output. Output does not represent our views or positions.
Integrators' duty to verify
When integrating the service into your own product or workflow, you should:
- Verify model output before serving it or acting on it — especially code, data, and factual claims;
- Present appropriate AI-generated-content notices to your end users;
- Perform your own risk and compliance review before production use;
- Bear full responsibility to your end users under your own product — no contractual relationship arises between us and your end users.
Not professional advice
Model output should not be treated directly as:
- Medical diagnosis or treatment advice
- Legal opinions
- Investment advice
- Financial advice
- Insurance advice
- Any other advice requiring professional qualification
For material decisions in these domains, consult professionals with the relevant licence. Mandatory restrictions for high-risk scenarios are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Third-party models and upstream services
The service forwards requests to third-party model providers. We make no guarantees and accept no liability for upstream output quality, content tendencies, safety filtering, availability, or data handling; upstream changes may affect your experience. See "Third-party models and upstream services" in the Service Terms.
Interruptions and data
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for interruptions, delays, or transfer failures caused by maintenance, upgrades, upstream faults, or force majeure. Keep your own backups of important data such as call logs and generated results.
External links
Docs and pages may link to third-party sites or tools for convenience only; the links do not imply endorsement, and you visit them at your own risk.
Scope of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteSeek Limited is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from reliance on model output. The full limitation of liability is in the Service Terms.
