    Effective date: August 29, 2026

    Service provider

    This website and the related services are operated by ByteSeek Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong ("the Company", "we").

    By registering for, signing in to, or using ByteSeek Tokens ("the Service") you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and the policies they incorporate: the Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Supported Regions, and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

    Eligibility

    • You must have full legal capacity in your jurisdiction to register and use the Service; minors who do not meet this requirement may not use it.
    • You and your actual place of use must fall within the Supported Regions.
    • You must not be listed on any applicable trade-sanctions or export-control list; see "Export controls and sanctions" below.
    • If you accept these terms on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you are authorised to do so and the organisation is equally bound.

    What the Service provides

    • API service and model access: call models from multiple vendors through API keys, in OpenAI-compatible, OpenAI Responses, and Anthropic formats;
    • API key management: create, configure, disable, and delete keys;
    • Usage overview: account-level call volume, spending, and quota summaries;
    • Usage logs: per-call detail (time, model, usage, and more);
    • Account features: balance, subscriptions, orders, redemption, teams;
    • Developer docs and client integration guides.

    Actual capabilities, available models, and prices are as shown live in the console. We reserve the right to adjust them; material changes are announced in advance.

    Accounts and API keys

    • Keep registration information true and valid, and safeguard your credentials; enabling two-factor authentication is recommended (see Account & Security).
    • Key custody: keep API keys confidential. Do not publish, leak, or share them with unauthorised third parties, or sell, rent, or resell them in violation of policy.
    • If a key leaks or may have leaked, revoke it immediately on the API keys page.
    • Calls and spending made through your account and keys are, in principle, the account holder's responsibility; losses caused by failing to safeguard credentials rest with you.
    • Multi-account reward farming, account trading, and bulk registration may lead to account suspension.

    Third-party models and upstream services

    The Service depends on third-party AI models, third-party APIs, infrastructure providers, payment providers, and network services. Capabilities may change, pause, or end due to model retirement or updates, upstream policy changes, regional adjustments, outages, upstream price changes, security-policy changes, or legal compliance requirements. We do not promise permanent availability of any particular model.

    Using a given upstream model also requires complying with that provider's usage policies; bans, losses, and liability arising from your violation of upstream policies rest with you. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

    Regional availability

    The Service is offered only in supported countries and regions. The full list, and the prohibition on circumventing regional restrictions, are in Supported Regions.

    Fees, payment, and refunds

    • The Service is denominated in platform credits, 🧩: balance, subscription quota, and model prices are all settled in 🧩, and you pay the amount shown on the payment page. Details in Billing; console prices are the final charged prices, and every charge is itemised.
    • Consumed quota is not refundable.
    • For unspent top-up balance, contact support for a refund via the original payment channel; channel fees may be deducted. Quota obtained through redemption codes, promotions, or other non-paid means cannot be cashed out or refunded.
    • Active subscriptions are not refundable pro rata; purchase as needed.
    • For billing disputes, reconcile against usage logs first, then contact support.
    • Price adjustments take effect as displayed in the console; entitlements purchased before an adjustment are unaffected.
    • You bear any taxes you are legally required to bear for using the Service.
    • Stolen payment instruments, malicious chargebacks, or other payment fraud lead to immediate account freezing, and we reserve the right to recover losses.

    Use restrictions

    You must not engage in conduct prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy, including but not limited to illegal or infringing use, harmful content generation, API abuse, automated attacks, bulk malicious registration, quota or auth circumvention, unlawful interface resale, unauthorised redistribution, and regional-restriction evasion. Enforcement follows that policy.

    Availability and suspension

    • We work to keep the Service stable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation; upstream availability is outside our control.
    • Requests that fail due to upstream faults are not billed.
    • We may maintain, upgrade, or adjust the Service; planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
    • Accounts in breach of these terms may be rate-limited, suspended, or terminated depending on severity.

    Intellectual property

    • The Service's interface, marks, documentation, code, and related content belong to the Company or their respective rights holders; do not copy, scrape, mirror, or use them to build competing products without permission.
    • Content you submit remains yours. To the extent permitted by law and upstream model licences, model outputs may be used for your own lawful purposes.
    • You are responsible for having the necessary rights to your inputs; third-party claims arising from your inputs or your use of outputs are yours to handle and bear.

    Export controls and sanctions

    You undertake to comply with applicable export-control and economic-sanctions laws (including but not limited to those of the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, and the Hong Kong SAR), and must not:

    • Use the Service in comprehensively sanctioned countries or regions;
    • Obtain the Service for sanctioned parties or entities or individuals on export-control lists;
    • Use the Service for legally prohibited end uses (such as weapons development).

    Disclaimer and limitation of liability

    • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
    • Model outputs are generated automatically by AI and do not constitute professional advice; consequences of decisions based on them rest with the user. See the Disclaimer.
    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, data loss, goodwill loss, or punitive damages; our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you actually paid for the Service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the dispute.
    • Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits; in those jurisdictions the above applies to the maximum extent the law allows.

    Indemnification

    If your use of the Service in breach of these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law causes the Company to face third-party claims, regulatory penalties, upstream recourse, or other losses, you shall compensate the Company for all reasonable losses so incurred (including reasonable legal fees).

    Force majeure

    We are not liable for interruptions or losses caused by force majeure or events beyond our reasonable control — natural disasters, war, strikes, epidemics, government action, changes in law or policy, large-scale network failures, upstream provider outages — but we will make reasonable efforts to reduce the impact and give timely notice.

    Account termination

    • You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion through the support email; settle and handle your balance before deletion.
    • After termination, data is handled per the retention rules in the Privacy Policy, except records the law requires us to keep (such as financial data).
    • Accounts banned for serious violations are handled per the Acceptable Use Policy.

    Changes to these terms

    Updates are published on this page with a refreshed effective date; material changes are notified via site announcements or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, stop using the Service and you may request handling of your balance.

    Miscellaneous

    • Entire agreement: these terms and the policies they incorporate are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
    • Severability: if any part of these terms is held invalid, the rest remains in force.
    • Assignment: you may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent; we may assign these terms in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, with notice as required by law.
    • No waiver: our not acting immediately on a breach does not waive the related rights.
    • Language: the Chinese version prevails; English translations are for reference.

    Governing law and disputes

    These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Disputes should first be resolved through consultation; failing that, they go to the competent courts of Hong Kong.
